It is indeed a pleasure and a privilege to share with the wider community in this format. We are presenting this web site to you in order to communicate and demonstrate that we believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ is available and effective for the hurts and woes of the whole world. Whatever is in your life that presents a challenge or a problem, Jesus Christ can handle it.

It appears that our entire nation is falling prey, more and more, to destructive and crippling influences. But we believe Jesus Christ is the solution to every troubling dilemma. His death and resurrection are the answer to your questions of pain and disappointment. He has the power to save us from our sins and to give us joy beyond description. He has the power to change this community and any community that will seek to surrender to his will.

At West Side Missionary Baptist Church we have determined to seek the will and power of God to impact our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that the Gospel is concerned about every aspect of life that concerns people. Where there is hunger we must provide food. Where there is pain we must provide healing. Where there is homelessness we must provide shelter. Where there is hopelessness we must provide hope. This is our commitment to the community: to do all that we can to share hope and love through our Lord Jesus Christ with those we encounter and with those who are even in distant lands.

Ronald L. Bobo, Sr., D. Min., is an anointed pastor and evangelist who believes that Jesus Christ is the only way. He is gifted with an ability to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a manner that has impacted the lives of people and won souls to the Kingdom of God throughout the world.

Pastor Bobo has been privileged to serve in leadership positions in various international ministries. He is a past president of the Baptist World Alliance Youth Department. He accepted the "Macedonian Call" to come and help by launching his own international ministry Sharing Hope International Ministries, a 501(c)3 tax exempt corporation.

Pastor Bobo has been active in pastoral ministry continuously since 1978 and has served the West Side Missionary Baptist Church of St. Louis, Missouri, USA, as Senior Pastor since 1986. He and his wife Darlean Anita have three outstanding, God fearing young men, Rev. Charles Bobo, Ronald Bobo, Jr. and Rev. Michael Bobo.
